Important Notice for Orders Shipped to the EU (Import Taxes and Fees)

Items shipped from outside the EU to EU member states may be subject to additional costs, such as import VAT (value-added tax), customs duties, and customs clearance and handling fees. These costs are not included in the item price or in the shipping fee charged at the time of your order, and are payable by the recipient upon delivery.

About Import VAT (Value-Added Tax)

The import VAT rate varies depending on the destination country. VAT is calculated on the taxable amount determined by the applicable import procedure, such as the item price, shipping fee, and customs duties.

We are not registered in the EU’s Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) and therefore do not collect import VAT at the time of your order. In principle, it will be charged by customs or the carrier when the item arrives.

About Customs Duties and Customs Handling Fees

From July 1, 2026, a provisional customs duty of €3 per tariff item category on the customs declaration applies to eligible low-value consignments of €150 or less.

In addition, from November 1, 2026, a handling fee of €2 per item line on the customs declaration will be added for eligible consignments, regardless of the item value. This handling fee is non-refundable, even if the item is returned or found to be defective.

These costs vary depending on the eligible consignment and the customs clearance procedures.

Product Colors/Sizes and Additional Import Costs

From November 1, 2026, import declarations for the EU will require a product identification code (PID) for each product. Our products have a separate JAN code and SKU for each variation, such as color and length, so each variation must be declared on a separate declaration line.

Therefore, even for the same product, if you order items in different colors or lengths together, the number of declaration lines increases, and additional costs, such as handling fees and fees charged by the carrier or customs broker, may be higher.

About Payment of Import Taxes and Fees

We do not collect import VAT or other taxes and fees incurred upon import at the time of your order. In principle, these costs will be charged to the recipient upon arrival of the item by the customs authority of the destination country, the carrier, or the local postal operator. Tax rates, amounts charged, and payment methods vary depending on the destination country and customs clearance procedures.

If any charges are requested, please pay them in accordance with the instructions provided. If payment cannot be confirmed, delivery may be delayed or the item may be returned to the sender.

To avoid delivery delays or the return of your item, please note in advance that additional costs may be incurred upon arrival.
